বসতি স্থাপনকারীদের গুলিতে পিঠে গুলিবিদ্ধ হন। বসতি স্থাপনকারীরা গ্রামের উপকণ্ঠে এসে বাসিন্দাদের ওপর হামলা চালালে তাদের তাড়াতে পাথর ছোড়া গ্রামবাসীদের একটি দলের সঙ্গে তিনি ছিলেন। বসতি স্থাপনকারীদের গুলিতে আরও নয় বাসিন্দা আহত হন। ঘটনাস্থলে আসা ইসরায়েলি নিরাপত্তা বাহিনীর ছোড়া রাবার-আবৃত ধাতব বুলেট আরেক গ্রামবাসীর মাথায় লাগে। কিছুক্ষণ পর নাসান আঘাতের কারণে শহীদ হন।
