أُطلق عليه الرصاص فاستُشهد على سطح مبنى أثناء رشقه قوات الأمن بالحجارة خلال اشتباكات في مخيم اللاجئين استُخدمت فيها زجاجات المولوتوف والعبوات الناسفة محلية الصنع وإطلاق النار. وكانت الاشتباكات قد اندلعت بعد أن دخل أعداد كبيرة من الجنود وحرس الحدود المخيم بحثًا عن جنديين دخلاه عن طريق الخطأ. وأُصيب فلسطيني آخر بجروح خطيرة خلال الاشتباكات في المخيم وتوفي متأثرًا بجراحه في ١٥ مارس ٢٠١٦. وبحسب تقارير إعلامية، أُصيب عشرة من أفراد قوات الأمن الإسرائيلية في الاشتباكات.

Shot dead on the roof of a building while throwing stones at security forces during clashes in the refugee camp which included the use of Molotov cocktails, improvised explosive devices and gunfire. The clashes had broken out after large numbers of soldiers and Border Police entered the camp in search of two soldiers who had accidentally entered the camp. Another Palestinian was critically injured during the clashes in the camp and died of his injuries on 15 March 2016. According to media reports, ten Israeli security forces personnel were injured in the clashes.
