শাস্তিমূলকভাবে একটি বাড়ি ধ্বংসের জন্য সেনা ও সীমান্ত পুলিশের ছদ্মবেশী সদস্যদের শহরে অভিযানের সময় ইসরায়েলি বাহিনীর ওপর গুলি চালানোর পর তাদের গুলিতে পেট ও ডান হাতে আহত হন। সৃষ্ট সংঘর্ষে ফিলিস্তিনিরা বাহিনীর দিকে পাথর, বিস্ফোরক ও মলোটভ ককটেল ছোড়ে এবং গুলি চালায়; বাহিনীও পাল্টা গুলি চালায়। বাহিনী আরেক ফিলিস্তিনিকে গুলি করে হত্যা করে। আবু জিলদা আল-আকসা শহীদ ব্রিগেডের সদস্য ছিলেন।
