أُصيب في البطن والذراع اليمنى برصاص القوات الإسرائيلية بعد أن أطلق النار عليها خلال اقتحام جنود وعناصر وحدة خاصة من حرس الحدود للبلدة بهدف هدم منزل عقابًا. وخلال الاشتباكات التي تطورت رشق الفلسطينيون القوات بالحجارة وألقوا المتفجرات والزجاجات الحارقة وأطلقوا النار عليها فردّت بإطلاق النار. وقتلت القوات فلسطينيًا آخر برصاصة قاتلة. وكان أبو جلدة عنصرًا في كتائب شهداء الأقصى.

Wounded in the abdomen and right arm by gunfire issued by Israeli forces after opening fire at them during an incursion of soldiers and undercover Border Police officers into the town in order to carry out a punitive home demolition. During clashes that developed, Palestinians threw stones, hurled explosives and Molotov cocktails and opened fire at the forces, who fired back. The forces fatally shot another Palestinian. Abu Jildah was an al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade operative.
