দুই বন্ধুর সঙ্গে গাড়িতে যাওয়ার সময় সেনাদের গুলিতে শহীদ হন; গুলিতে বন্ধুদের একজন আহত হন এবং অন্যজন শহীদ হন। ঘটনার পর সেনাবাহিনী দাবি করে, তিনজন সেনাদের গাড়িচাপা দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করলে তাঁদের গুলি করা হয়। বেতসেলেমের অনুসন্ধানে দেখা যায়, গুলিবিদ্ধ হওয়ার আগে তাঁরা সেনাদের দেখতেই পাননি। ইসরায়েল ১৬ ডিসেম্বর ২০২২ পর্যন্ত দুটি মরদেহ আটকে রাখে।
