استُشهدت مع ابنتها برصاص جندي أطلق النار من دبابة بينما كانت تسير مع مجموعة من الأشخاص يحملون علمًا أبيض. وتُركت جثتاهما في الشارع حتى انسحاب الجيش لأن سيارات الإسعاف لم يُسمح لها بالوصول إلى المكان. وكانت العائلة قد اضطرت من قبل إلى ترك منزلها بعد قصفه.

Killed with her daughter by a soldier who fired from a tank as she walked with a group of persons carrying a white flag.
