استُشهدت مع أمها برصاص جندي أطلقه من دبابة بينما كانت تسير مع مجموعة أشخاص يحملون راية بيضاء. وبقيت جثتاهما في الشارع حتى انسحاب الجيش لأن سيارات الإسعاف لم يُسمح لها بالوصول إلى الموقع. وكانت العائلة قد اضطرت من قبل إلى مغادرة منزلها الذي تعرض للقصف.

Killed with her mother by a soldier who fired from a tank as she walked with a group of persons carrying a white flag. Their bodies were left in the street until the army withdrew because ambulances were not allowed to reach the site. Previously , the family had to leave their house, which was shelled.
