Foi morta com seu marido, dois de seus filhos, ambos menores, seu cunhado e três filhos dele, todos menores, e outras 14 pessoas da família estendida de seu marido, entre elas três menores, que moravam em dois prédios contíguos. Em outro prédio próximo, da família Abu al-'Oaf, 22 pessoas foram mortas, entre elas nove menores. Em um quarto prédio, situado a cerca de 500 metros dos demais, dois moradores foram mortos. Killed with her husband, two of their children, both of them minors, her brother-in-law and three of their children, all minors, and 14 other people from her husband's extended family, including three minors, who lived in two adjoining buildings. In another nearby building, owned by the Abu al-'Oaf family, 22 people were killed, including nine minors. In a fourth building located about 500 meters from the others, two occupants were killed. According to the military, the Hamas tunnel network ran under the street.
