Morreu com a esposa, dois de seus filhos, ambos menores, o irmão e três filhos dele, todos menores, além de outras 14 pessoas da família ampliada, entre elas três menores, que moravam em dois prédios contíguos. Em outro prédio próximo, da família Abu al-'Oaf, 22 pessoas morreram, entre elas nove menores. Em um quarto prédio, a cerca de 500 metros dos outros, dois moradores morreram. Killed with his wife, two of their children, both of them minors, his brother and three of his children, all minors, as well as 14 other people from his extended family, including three minors, who lived in two adjoining buildings. In another nearby building, owned by the Abu al-'Oaf family, 22 people were killed, including nine minors. In a fourth building located about 500 meters from the others, two occupants were killed.
