Bitişik iki binada yaşayan eşi, ikisi de reşit olmayan iki çocukları, kayınbiraderi ve onun hepsi reşit olmayan üç çocuğu ile eşinin geniş ailesinden üçü reşit olmayan 14 kişiyle birlikte şehit oldu. Killed with her husband, two of their children, both of them minors, her brother-in-law and three of their children, all minors, and 14 other people from her husband's extended family, including three minors, who lived in two adjoining buildings. In another nearby building, owned by the Abu al-'Oaf family, 22 people were killed, including nine minors. In a fourth building located about 500 meters from the others, two occupants were killed. According to the military, the Hamas tunnel network ran under the street.
