পরিবারের মালিকানাধীন একটি ভবনে স্ত্রী, ছেলে, পুত্রবধূ ও দুই অপ্রাপ্তবয়স্ক নাতি-নাতনি, বৃহত্তর পরিবারের চারজন এবং আটজন অপ্রাপ্তবয়স্কসহ আরও ১২ জন বাসিন্দার সঙ্গে বাড়িতে শহীদ হন। পাশাপাশি দুটি ভবনে আল-কুলাক (কোলাক) পরিবারের ২২ জন সদস্য নিহত হন, যাঁদের ছয়জন অপ্রাপ্তবয়স্ক, তাদের মধ্যে চার মাস বয়সী এক শিশু। প্রায় ৫০০ মিটার দূরে চতুর্থ একটি ভবনে আরও দুজন নিহত হন। সেনাবাহিনীর ভাষ্যমতে, হামাসের সুড়ঙ্গ নেটওয়ার্ক ওই রাস্তার নিচ দিয়ে গিয়েছিল।
