استُشهدت مع ثلاثة من أبنائها، اثنان منهم قاصران، ومع أهل زوجها وشقيق زوجها وشقيقته، و١٤ شخصًا آخرين من عائلتها الممتدة، بينهم ثلاثة قاصرين، كانوا يسكنون في مبنيين متلاصقين. وفي مبنى قريب آخر تملكه عائلة أبو العوف استُشهد ٢٢ شخصًا، بينهم تسعة قاصرين. وفي مبنى رابع يبعد نحو ٥٠٠ متر عن المباني الأخرى استُشهد اثنان من قاطنيه. وبحسب الجيش، كانت شبكة أنفاق حماس تمتد تحت الشارع.

Killed with three of her children, two of them minors, her in-laws, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, and 14 other people from her extended family, including three minors, who lived in two adjoining buildings. In another nearby building, owned by the Abu al-'Oaf family, 22 people were killed, including nine minors. In a fourth building located about 500 meters from the others, two occupants were killed. According to the military, the Hamas tunnel network ran under the street.
