استُشهد مع والديه وأخيه القاصر وعمه وثلاثة من أبناء عمه، وجميعهم قاصرون، و١٤ شخصًا آخرين من عائلته الممتدة، بينهم ثلاثة قاصرين، كانوا يسكنون في مبنيين متلاصقين. وفي مبنى قريب آخر تملكه عائلة أبو العوف استُشهد ٢٢ شخصًا، بينهم تسعة قاصرين. وفي مبنى رابع يبعد نحو ٥٠٠ متر عن المباني الأخرى استُشهد اثنان من قاطنيه. وبحسب الجيش، كانت شبكة أنفاق حماس تمتد تحت الشارع.

Killed with his parents, his brother, who was a minor, his uncle and three of his children, all of them minors, and 14 other people from his extended family, including three minors, who lived in two adjoining buildings.
