Foi morta em casa com o marido, o filho do casal, a nora e dois netos, ambos menores de idade, além de quatro pessoas da família estendida e outros 12 moradores, entre eles oito menores, em um prédio pertencente à família. Vinte e dois membros da família al-Qoolaq (Kolak), seis deles menores, incluindo um bebê de quatro meses, morreram em dois prédios vizinhos. Killed at home with her husband, their son, their daughter-in-law and two of their grandchildren, both minors, as well as four people from their extended family and 12 other occupants, including eight minors, in a building owned by the family. Twenty-two members of the al-Qoolaq (Kolak) family, six of them minors, including a four-month-old baby, were killed in two adjacent buildings. Two more people were killed in a fourth building about 500 meters away. According to the military, the Hamas tunnel network ran under the street.
