군의 마을 침공 중 모스크에서 예배를 마치고 돌아오다 약 100미터 거리에서 쏜 군인들의 총에 머리를 맞아 부상했다. 침공 중 팔레스타인인들은 군인들에게 총을 쏘고 돌을 던졌다. 얼마 뒤 부상으로 숨졌다.

Wounded in the head by soldiers’ gunfire from a distance of about 100 meters as he was returning from prayers at the mosque during a military incursion into the town. Palestinians fired and threw stones at the soldiers during the incursion. Died of his wounds shortly after.
