Touché par balle par un policier après l'avoir poignardé, ainsi qu'un agent de la police des frontières, près de Bab al-Qatanin, l'une des entrées de l'esplanade d'al-Aqsa. Selon la police, les deux agents ont été modérément blessés. Des images vidéo montrent le policier tirant sur Qassem alors que celui-ci était étendu au sol. Israël retient son corps.

Shot by a police officer after stabbing him and a Border Police officer near Bab al-Qatanin, one of the entrances to the al-Aqsa compound. According to the police, the two officers sustained moderate injuries. Video footage shows the police officer shooting at Qassem while the latter was lying on the ground. Israel is holding his body.
