Wounded by soldiers’ gunfire during clashes in the city. Died of his wounds shortly after. Some 40 Palestinians sustained wounds from live fire in the exchanges of fire and clashes that took place in the city, including a man who died of his wounds on 23 August 2022. Two Palestinian operatives who were barricaded inside a house were killed in the incident, during an exchange of fire with Israeli Special Police Unit officers who fired live ammunition and anti-tank missiles at the house.
