Foi morta por um míssil disparado contra uma moto que passou perto dela quando caminhava pela rua, passando pela Mesquita Abu Samrah, perto de sua casa no bairro de a-Shuja’iya. Outros dois palestinos foram mortos no incidente: um muezim voluntário que estava sentado na porta da mesquita e seu primo, militante do braço militar da Jihad Islâmica, que estava na moto com o pai dela, também militante graduado do braço militar. Killed by a missile fired at a motorcycle that passed near her as she was walking along the street past Abu Samrah Mosque near her home in a-Shuja’iya neighborhood. Two other Palestinians were killed in the incident, a volunteer muazzin who was sitting in the mosque’s doorway and her cousin, an Islamic Jihad military wing operative, who was riding the motorcycle with her father, also a senior military wing operative. Three more people were wounded, including her brother, who was a minor.
