Foi morta com a mãe, a irmã e dois irmãos, todos menores, quando visitava parentes da mãe em um edifício pertencente à família ampliada, onde outras 17 pessoas, entre elas seis menores, foram mortas. Vinte e dois membros da família al-Qoolaq (Kolak), seis deles menores, entre eles um bebê de quatro meses, foram mortos em dois edifícios adjacentes. Outras duas pessoas foram mortas em um quarto edifício, a cerca de 500 metros. Segundo os militares, a rede de túneis do Hamas passava sob a rua.

Killed with her mother, sister and two brothers, all minors, while visiting her mother's relatives in a building owned by the extended family, in which 17 other people, including six minors, were killed. Twenty-two members of the al-Qoolaq (Kolak) family, six of them minors, including a four-month-old baby, were killed in two adjacent buildings. Two more people were killed in a fourth building about 500 meters away. According to the military, the Hamas tunnel network ran under the street.
