È stato colpito alla testa, alla spalla, all'addome, alle braccia e alla coscia da soldati israeliani che hanno crivellato di proiettili la sua auto non appena è entrata nella strada in cui camminavano. Il suo amico, ferito a una mano, è stato arrestato e picchiato dai soldati e rilasciato su cauzione il 30 luglio 2023, sebbene l'esercito sostenesse che i due avessero tentato di investire dei soldati. Shot in the head, shoulder, abdomen, arms and thigh, by Israeli soldiers who sprayed his car with bullets as soon as it entered the street where they were walking. His friend, whose hand was wounded, was arrested and beaten by the soldiers and released on bail on 30 July 2023, even though the military claimed the two had tried to run over soldiers. B’Tselem’s research revealed there had been no attempted car attack.
