Touché par balle et blessé à la taille par des soldats embusqués alors qu'il rentrait chez lui à pied sur la route de Beit ‘Ur a-Tahta, dont l'embranchement depuis la route 443 a été bloqué par Israël. Il a succombé à ses blessures peu après.

Shot and wounded in the waist by soldiers lying in ambush, while walking home on the road to Beit ‘Ur a-Tahta, the turn-off to which from Route 443 has been blocked by Israel. Succumbed to his wounds a short while later.
