বেইত উর আত-তাহতার রাস্তা দিয়ে হেঁটে বাড়ি ফেরার সময় ওত পেতে থাকা সেনাদের গুলিতে কোমরে আহত হন; রুট ৪৪৩ থেকে ওই রাস্তার মোড় ইসরায়েল বন্ধ করে রেখেছে। কিছুক্ষণ পর আঘাতজনিত কারণে শহীদ হন।
