Grièvement blessé lorsque des soldats lui ont tiré dans le dos, après qu'il se fut dégagé de leur emprise et eut commencé à fuir. Il a été conduit à l'hôpital dans un véhicule civil, qui a dû faire un détour à cause d'un checkpoint militaire. Son décès a été constaté à son arrivée à l'hôpital.

Critically injured when soldiers fired at his back, after he broke free of their grasp and began to flee. He was taken to hospital in a civilian vehicle, which had to take a longer route because of a military checkpoint. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
