همراه با پدرش، پدربزرگ و مادربزرگش، برادر و خواهرش، همسرش و پسر چهار ماهه‌شان، عمه‌اش، همسران دو عمویش و سه فرزند یکی از آنان، از جمله دو فرد زیر سن قانونی، و نیز هشت نفر از خانواده گسترده‌شان که در دو ساختمان مجاور زندگی می‌کردند، از جمله پنج فرد زیر سن قانونی، شهید شد. در ساختمان دیگری در همان نزدیکی، متعلق به خانواده ابوالعوف، ۲۲ نفر از جمله نه فرد زیر سن قانونی شهید شدند. در ساختمان چهارمی در حدود ۵۰۰ متری ساختمان‌های دیگر، دو تن از ساکنان شهید شدند. به گفته ارتش، شبکه تونل‌های حماس از زیر این خیابان می‌گذشت.

Killed with his father, grandparents, his brother and sister, his wife and their four-month-old son, his aunt, the wives of his two uncles and the three children of one of them, including two minors, as well as eight people from their extended family who lived in two adjoining buildings, including five minors. In another nearby building, owned by the Abu al-'Oaf family, 22 people were killed, including nine minors. In a fourth building located about 500 meters from the others, two occupants were killed. According to the military, the Hamas tunnel network ran under the street.
