Babası, büyükanne ve büyükbabası, erkek ve kız kardeşi, eşi ve 4 aylık oğulları, teyzesi, 2 amcasının eşleri ve amcalarından birinin 2’si reşit olmayan 3 çocuğunun yanı sıra, bitişikteki 2 binada yaşayan ve 5’i reşit olmayan geniş ailesinden 8 kişiyle birlikte şehit oldu. Yakındaki ve Abu al-'Oaf ailesine ait bir başka binada 9’u reşit olmayan 22 kişi şehit oldu. Diğerlerine yaklaşık 500 metre uzaklıktaki dördüncü bir binada 2 kişi şehit oldu. Orduya göre Hamas’ın tünel ağı sokağın altından geçiyordu.

Killed with his father, grandparents, his brother and sister, his wife and their four-month-old son, his aunt, the wives of his two uncles and the three children of one of them, including two minors, as well as eight people from their extended family who lived in two adjoining buildings, including five minors. In another nearby building, owned by the Abu al-'Oaf family, 22 people were killed, including nine minors. In a fourth building located about 500 meters from the others, two occupants were killed. According to the military, the Hamas tunnel network ran under the street.
