Herido en una ejecución extrajudicial por agentes de la Unidad Especial de Policía mientras estaba sentado en su coche aparcado. Los agentes le impidieron marcharse, se acercaron al coche y abrieron fuego de inmediato contra 'Abdu, que no los ponía en peligro. Wounded in an extrajudicial killing by Special Police Unit officers while sitting in his parked car. The officers blocked him from driving away, approached the car and immediately opened fire at ‘Abdu, who was not endangering them. They dragged him out of the car and left without extending him first aid. Succumbed to his wounds a short while later.
