کیمپ سے انخلا کرتے ہوئے بارڈر پولیس اور خفیہ اہلکاروں پر آئی ای ڈی پھینکنے کے بعد ان کی فائرنگ سے سر میں زخمی ہوئے۔ انخلا کے دوران فلسطینیوں نے فورسز پر پتھر، مولوٹوف کاک ٹیل اور آئی ای ڈیز پھینکے۔ وہ اسی دن بعد میں زخموں کی تاب نہ لا کر شہید ہو گئے۔ واقعے میں اسلامی جہاد کے عسکری ونگ کا ایک کارکن بھی اہلکاروں پر فائرنگ کرنے کے بعد گولی لگنے سے زخمی ہوا اور کچھ ہی دیر بعد زخموں کی تاب نہ لا کر شہید ہو گیا۔
