Foi ferido na cabeça por uma bala de metal revestida de borracha disparada por forças de segurança israelenses durante a dispersão de um protesto no sítio arqueológico de al-‘Urmah, perto de Beita. Injured in the head by a rubber-coated metal bullet fired by Israeli security forces during the dispersal of a protest at the archaeological site of al-‘Urmah near Beita. A 15-year-old Palestinian was killed and another 13 Palestinians injured in the incident by live fire and rubber-coated metal bullets. Was in a coma from the time of the injury.
