Tué avec son frère et sa sœur, tous deux mineurs, sa mère, deux de ses oncles, ses grands-parents et 14 autres membres de sa famille élargie, dont trois mineurs, qui habitaient deux immeubles contigus. Dans un autre immeuble voisin, appartenant à la famille Abu al-'Oaf, 22 personnes ont été tuées, dont neuf mineurs. Dans un quatrième immeuble situé à environ 500 mètres des autres, deux occupants ont été tués. Selon l'armée, le réseau de tunnels du Hamas passait sous la rue.

Killed with his brother and sister, both of them minors, his mother, two of his uncles, his grandparents, and 14 other people from his extended family, including three minors, who lived in two adjoining buildings. In another nearby building, owned by the Abu al-'Oaf family, 22 people were killed, including nine minors. In a fourth building located about 500 meters from the others, two occupants were killed. According to the military, the Hamas tunnel network ran under the street.
