Tué alors qu'il était assis dans la rue en face de chez lui avec trois autres membres de sa famille ; l'un d'eux a été tué sur le coup, les deux autres sont morts plus tard de leurs blessures. La frappe visait un membre d'une branche armée qui passait à moto et qui n'a pas été tué.

Killed while sitting in the street opposite his home together with three other members of his family, one of whom was killed instantly, while the other two died later of their injuries. The strike was aimed at an operative in an armed wing who was passing by on a motorbike and who was not killed.
