Photojournaliste venu couvrir la frappe sur la maison voisine de la famille a-Silk, dans laquelle neuf membres de la famille, dont sept mineurs, avaient été tués. Tué avec 19 autres personnes dans une frappe sur le marché du quartier a-Shuja’iyeh, à Gaza-ville. Parmi les morts au marché figuraient un mineur, quatre secouristes – dont trois membres de la branche militaire du Hamas –, deux autres photojournalistes et quatre agents de la défense civile.

A photojournalist who had come to document the strike on the nearby home of the a-Silk family, in which nine members of the family, seven of them minors, had been killed. Killed along with 19 others in a strike on the marketplace in the neighborhood of a-Shuja’iyeh, Gaza City. Among the fatalities in the marketplace were a minor, four medics – three of them Hamas military branch operatives – two other photojournalists and four civil defense personnel.
