Fotoperiodista que había acudido a documentar el ataque contra la cercana casa de la familia a-Silk, en el que murieron nueve miembros de la familia, siete de ellos menores. Murió junto con otras 19 personas en un ataque contra el mercado del barrio de Shujaiya, en la ciudad de Gaza. Entre los muertos en el mercado había un menor, cuatro sanitarios —tres de ellos miembros del brazo armado de Hamás—, otros dos fotoperiodistas y cuatro miembros de la defensa civil.

A photojournalist who had come to document the strike on the nearby home of the a-Silk family, in which nine members of the family, seven of them minors, had been killed. Killed along with 19 others in a strike on the marketplace in the neighborhood of a-Shuja’iyeh, Gaza City. Among the fatalities in the marketplace were a minor, four medics – three of them Hamas military branch operatives – two other photojournalists and four civil defense personnel.
