داوطلب دفاع مدنی. هنگامی که برای کمک به قربانیان حمله به بازار محله شجاعیه در شهر غزه رفته بود، همراه با ۱۹ نفر دیگر شهید شد. در میان شهدا یک خردسال، چهار امدادگر، که سه تن از آنان عضو شاخه نظامی حماس بودند، سه عکاس خبری و سه نیروی دیگر دفاع مدنی بودند. پیش‌تر، حمله به خانه خانواده السلک در آن نزدیکی نُه تن از اعضای این خانواده را، که هفت تن از آنان خردسال بودند، به شهادت رسانده بود.

A civil defense volunteer. Killed along with 19 others when he went to the aid of casualties in the strike on the marketplace in the neighborhood of a-Shuja’iyeh, Gaza City. Among the fatalities were a minor, four medics – three of them Hamas military branch operatives – three photojournalists and three other civil defense personnel. Earlier, a strike on the nearby home of the a-Silk family killed nine members of the family, seven of them minors.
