Voluntário da defesa civil. Morreu junto com outras 19 pessoas quando foi socorrer vítimas do ataque contra o mercado no bairro de a-Shuja’iyeh, na Cidade de Gaza. Entre os mortos havia um menor, quatro socorristas – três deles membros da ala militar do Hamas –, três fotojornalistas e outros três integrantes da defesa civil. Antes, um ataque contra a casa próxima da família a-Silk matou nove membros da família, sete deles menores.

A civil defense volunteer. Killed along with 19 others when he went to the aid of casualties in the strike on the marketplace in the neighborhood of a-Shuja’iyeh, Gaza City. Among the fatalities were a minor, four medics – three of them Hamas military branch operatives – three photojournalists and three other civil defense personnel. Earlier, a strike on the nearby home of the a-Silk family killed nine members of the family, seven of them minors.
