در جریان تظاهراتی نزدیک حصار مرزی غزه، در شمال شهرک خزاعه، هنگامی که چند ده متر با حصار فاصله داشت، بر اثر شلیک سربازان از شکم زخمی شد. او به سوی سربازانی که در آن سوی حصار ایستاده بودند سنگ و کوکتل مولوتف پرتاب کرده بود. اندکی بعد بر اثر جراحات شهید شد.

Wounded in the abdomen by soldiers’ gunfire during a demonstration near the Gaza perimeter fence, north of the town of Khuza’a while several dozen meters away from the fence. Had thrown stones and a Molotov cocktail at soldiers standing on the other side of the fence. Died of his wounds shortly after.
