পরিবারের সঙ্গে শুজাইয়া এলাকা থেকে আয-যাইতুন এলাকায় চাচার বাড়িতে পালিয়ে আসার পর মসজিদে যাওয়ার পথে আহত হন। চিকিৎসার জন্য পূর্ব জেরুজালেমের একটি হাসপাতালে নেওয়া হয়, সেখানে আঘাতজনিত কারণে শহীদ হন।
