استُشهد في سيارة كان يستقلها مع أبيه وإخوته أثناء وقف لإطلاق النار عندما أطلق الجنود النار عليهم فأصابوا الأب، الذي كان يقود، فاصطدم بجدار. وأمر الجنود بالنزول من السيارة، وحين نزلوا أطلقوا النار عليهم. واستُشهد أخوه كسب برصاصة في بطنه، وأُصيب إبراهيم بالرصاص في ساقيه ونزف حتى الموت حتى منتصف الليل بينما وقف الجنود يتفرجون.

Killed in a car while riding with his father and brothers during a cease fire when soldiers shot at them, striking the father, who was driving, causing him to crash into a wall. Soldiers ordered them to get out of the car and when they did so, fired at them. The brother Kasab was killed by a shot in the stomach, and Ibrahim was shot in the legs and bled to death until midnight, while soldiers stood by.
