যুদ্ধবিরতির সময় বাবা ও ভাইদের সঙ্গে গাড়িতে যাওয়ার সময় শহীদ হন; সেনারা তাঁদের ওপর গুলি চালায়, গাড়িচালক বাবা গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে দেয়ালে ধাক্কা খান। সেনারা তাঁদের গাড়ি থেকে নামার নির্দেশ দেয় এবং তাঁরা নামলে তাঁদের ওপর গুলি চালায়। ভাই কাসাব পেটে গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে শহীদ হন, আর ইব্রাহিম পায়ে গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে মধ্যরাত পর্যন্ত রক্তক্ষরণে শহীদ হন, তখন সেনারা পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে ছিল।
