کیمپ سے واپس جاتے ہوئے بارڈر پولیس اور خفیہ اہلکاروں پر فائرنگ کرنے کے بعد ان کی فائرنگ سے سینے میں زخمی ہوئے۔ واپسی کے دوران فلسطینیوں نے فورسز پر پتھر، مولوٹوف کاک ٹیل اور دیسی ساختہ بم پھینکے۔ تھوڑی دیر بعد زخموں کی تاب نہ لاتے ہوئے شہید ہو گئے۔ اس واقعے میں شہدائے اقصیٰ بریگیڈز کا ایک کارکن بھی اہلکاروں پر دیسی ساختہ بم پھینکنے کے بعد گولی لگنے سے زخمی ہوا اور اسی دن بعد میں زخموں کی تاب نہ لاتے ہوئے شہید ہو گیا۔

Wounded in the chest from shots fired by Border Police and undercover officers, after shooting at them as they were withdrawing from the camp. During the withdrawal, Palestinians threw stones, Molotov cocktails and IEDs at the forces. He died of his wounds a short while later. An operative with the Shuhada al-Aqsa Brigades was also shot and wounded in the incident, after throwing an IED at the officers, and died of his wounds later that day.
