Blessé à la poitrine par des tirs d'agents de la police des frontières et d'agents infiltrés, après avoir tiré sur eux alors qu'ils se retiraient du camp. Pendant le retrait, des Palestiniens ont lancé des pierres, des cocktails Molotov et des engins explosifs improvisés sur les forces. Il a succombé à ses blessures peu après. Un membre des Brigades des martyrs d'al-Aqsa a également été touché par balle et blessé dans l'incident, après avoir lancé un engin explosif improvisé sur les agents, et a succombé à ses blessures plus tard dans la journée.

Wounded in the chest from shots fired by Border Police and undercover officers, after shooting at them as they were withdrawing from the camp. During the withdrawal, Palestinians threw stones, Molotov cocktails and IEDs at the forces. He died of his wounds a short while later. An operative with the Shuhada al-Aqsa Brigades was also shot and wounded in the incident, after throwing an IED at the officers, and died of his wounds later that day.
