Köyden çekilen askeri ciplerdeki askerlere Molotof kokteyli atarken onların açtığı ateşle yaralandı. Kısa süre sonra aldığı yaralar nedeniyle şehit oldu. Yanında bulunan ve o da ciplere yanan bir Molotof kokteyli atmak üzere olan erkek kardeşi de askerlerin ateşiyle yaralandı ve kısa süre sonra aldığı yaralar nedeniyle şehit oldu.

Wounded by shots fired by soldiers in military jeeps as he was throwing a Molotov cocktail at them while they were retreating from the village. Died of his wounds shortly after. His brother, who was with him and was also about to throw a burning Molotov cocktail at the jeeps, was also wounded by the soldiers’ fire and died of his wounds shortly after.
