Ficou ferido em um ataque que matou quatro membros da família, três deles menores. Um dos mortos era membro da ala armada da Frente Popular para a Libertação da Palestina. Injured in a strike that killed four members of his family, three of them minors. One of those killed was an operative in the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Another member of the family was injured and died 10 days later of his injuries. A boy who was walking along an alley by the home was also killed in the strike.
