È stato ucciso sul tetto della casa di famiglia insieme al fratello e alla sorella, entrambi minorenni, al nonno e ad altri cinque membri della famiglia, quattro dei quali minorenni, mentre davano da mangiare ai conigli e ai piccioni di famiglia. Killed on the rooftop of his family’s home with his brother and sister, both minors, his grandfather and five other members of his family, four of them minors, while feeding the family’s rabbits and pigeons. They were killed in a strike on their home, which is near the marketplace in the neighborhood of a-Shuja’iyeh, Gaza City. In a strike on the marketplace shortly after, another 20 people were killed, including four medics, three of them Hamas military branch operatives.
