Handicapé mental, il a quitté sa maison et a disparu pendant deux jours. Après le départ des soldats du secteur, son frère a retrouvé son corps près du carrefour d'al-'Amudi, dans le nord de la ville. Il avait été touché à la cuisse et s'était apparemment vidé de son sang pendant deux jours, sans que personne ne puisse lui porter secours.

Mentally disabled, he left his house and went missing for two days. After the soldiers left the area, his brother found his body next to al-'Amudi intersection, in the northern part of the city. He had been shot in the thigh and apparently bled for two days, during which nobody was able to come to his aid.
