Tué à l'entrée de la maison de son frère, où la famille s'abritait, alors qu'il partait vers une épicerie voisine, dans une frappe aérienne sur le marché hebdomadaire du vendredi. Un membre de la branche militaire du Jihad islamique qui se trouvait près de la maison a été tué dans la frappe. Un troisième Palestinien blessé dans la frappe a succombé à ses blessures environ deux semaines plus tard. Deux autres Palestiniens ont été blessés dans la frappe.

Killed at the entrance to his brother's home, where the family was sheltering, as he was leaving to go to a nearby grocery store, in an airstrike on the weekly Friday market. An Islamic Jihad military wing operative who was near the house was killed in the strike. A third Palestinian who was injured in the strike succumbed to his wounds about two weeks later. Two other Palestinians were injured in the strike.
