Murió junto con sus padres, su hermana, su esposa, sus tres hijos, su nuera y su nieto de cuatro meses, su cuñada y tres de los hijos de esta, tres de ellos menores, así como ocho personas de su familia extensa que vivían en dos edificios contiguos, entre ellas cinco menores. Killed with his parents, sister, wife, his three children, his daughter-in-law and four-month-old grandson, his sister-in-law and three of her children, three of them minors, as well as eight people from their extended family who lived in two adjoining buildings, including five minors. In another nearby building, owned by the Abu al-'Oaf family, 22 people were killed, including nine minors. In a fourth building located about 500 meters from the others, two occupants were killed.
