Foi morto com o pai, os avós, a irmã, o irmão, a cunhada e o filho dela de quatro meses, a tia, as esposas de dois tios e os três filhos de um deles, entre eles dois menores, além de oito pessoas da família estendida que moravam em dois prédios vizinhos, entre elas cinco menores. Em outro prédio próximo, pertencente à família Abu al-'Oaf, 22 pessoas morreram, entre elas nove menores. Em um quarto prédio, a cerca de 500 metros dos outros, dois moradores morreram. Killed with his father, grandparents, sister, brother, sister-in-law and her four-month-old son, aunt, the wives of his two uncles and the three children of one of them, including two minors,as well as eight people from their extended family who lived in two adjoining buildings, including five minors. In another nearby building, owned by the Abu al-'Oaf family, 22 people were killed, including nine minors. In a fourth building located about 500 meters from the others, two occupants were killed. According to the military, the Hamas tunnel network ran under the street.
