Ucciso da un colpo di carro armato che lo ha colpito al petto e all'addome mentre si trovava su un terreno agricolo, a circa 750 m dalla recinzione di confine, a est di al-Qararah. Nel bombardamento è rimasto ferito un altro palestinese.

Killed from a tank shell that hit his chest and abdomen while he was on farmland, some 750m away from the perimeter fence, east of al-Qararah. Another Palestinian was hurt in the shelling.
