Tué par un obus de char qui l'a touché à la poitrine et à l'abdomen alors qu'il se trouvait sur des terres agricoles, à quelque 750 m de la clôture frontalière, à l'est d'al-Qararah. Un autre Palestinien a été blessé dans le bombardement.

Killed from a tank shell that hit his chest and abdomen while he was on farmland, some 750m away from the perimeter fence, east of al-Qararah. Another Palestinian was hurt in the shelling.
