Era in avanzato stato di gravidanza. È stata uccisa da schegge in un raid aereo sulla casa della sua famiglia, come anche suo cognato, miliziano dell'ala militare della Jihad islamica. Nel raid aereo sono rimasti feriti anche il suocero e un vicino, entrambi morti per le ferite poco dopo, e sei minorenni.

Was heavily pregnant. Killed by shrapnel in an airstrike on her family’s home as was her brother-in-law, an Islamic Jihad military branch operative. Also injured in the airstrike were her father-in-law and a neighbor, both of whom succumbed to their wounds shortly after, and six minors.
